Timothy Prather

Lincoln County Commissioner D-4

Timothy Prather is the only conservative republican candidate running for the Lincoln County Commissioner District-4 position. He is a Small business owner, former combat marine, conservative Christian, husband and father. When Tim was 18 years old, he joined the USMC to serve his country. After 3 deployments two of which were combat tours in Iraq, Tim was critically injured and needed over 20 surgeries. The road to recovery was a long one.

He is now a father of 3 girls with his wife of 18 years and has extensive experience in a successful local business. He understands the hardships involved in the proper management of business and how to overcome those hardships.

Michael Wood

Sheriff Wood was born in Ft. Sumner, New Mexico and raised in Artesia. He and his beautiful wife Teri, raised 4 children and have 3 wonderful Grandkids. The Woods have permanently resided in Lincoln County for the past 10 years.

2024 marks 30 years of experience as a County Peace Officer serving the Counties of Lincoln and Chaves as Patrol Deputy, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Undersheriff and now, Sheriff. Michael has proudly protected and defended Lincoln County for the past 3+ years as your Sheriff and he looks forward to continuing this important work for the next 4 years.


LeeRoy Zamora

Lincoln County Assessor

LeeRoy Zamora is a 4th generation, lifelong resident of Lincoln County. He has over 23 years of experience with the Assessor’s Office and knows how important the estimated value of real property, including residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural properties within a city, town, or village is to his fellow citizens in Lincoln County.

His 29 years of service as a volunteer firefighter has taught him that being accountable to do his job correctly is of extreme importance. And to those who have entrusted their property values to him and his team he wants them to know the importance he places on accomplishing his job with the integrity they expect.

LeeRoy's plan as Assessor is to ensure that all properties in Lincoln County are assessed fairly and equitably, according to NM Statutes and the Property Tax Code.


Harlan Vincent

Harlan Vincent is a Christian conservative member of the Republican Party who cherishes faith, family, and personal responsibility. Harlan served Lincoln County for 25 years as a fireman and EMT before retiring as the Village of Ruidoso Fire Chief. Harlan is an active and lifelong member of the National Rifle Association (NRA) and believes in the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution, which protects the right to keep and bear arm

In 1993, Harlan and his wife Rhonda, forged their own American Dream, by starting a small paving and sealcoating business, which is still viable today. As an entrepreneur, Harlan understands how challenging the climate can be for business owners in New Mexico, and he will continue to support economic development and jobs by promoting tax policies that adhere to the Constitution. Harlan’s values, work ethic, and integrity have made him a pillar in his community and a strong voice for District 56 in the New Mexico Legislature.
